With more than 25 years of professional experience, Kevin previously founded and led one of the Southeast's premier commercial design–build firms, completing high-end, architecturally complex projects for institutional, corporate, hospitality, and specialty clients. His firm earned a reputation for delivering the types of projects most builders avoid—fast-track schedules, intricate structures, demanding specifications, and fully integrated design–build delivery.
After selling the company, Kevin shifted his focus to what he enjoys most today: creating luxury custom homes through Hobgood Residential. The transition was seamless. The same skills that allowed him to excel on large-scale commercial projects—architectural coordination, structural precision, material curation, complex detailing, and hands-on project leadership—directly elevate his residential work.
